We created Nuare Sample Scent Tins for one simple reason: our customers asked for them.

Choosing a scent is personal. It lives in your space, shapes your mood, and becomes part of your everyday rituals. We didn’t want you to have to guess.

Our sample tins are designed as fragrance testers, smaller, more accessible sizes that let you experience a scent in your own home before investing in a full-size candle. Light it. Live with it. See how it feels in the morning, at night, and in the moments in between.

Each tin is poured with the same all-natural blend you’ll find in our full-size candles:

Candle Burning Tips

1. Trim your wick: the best thing you can do for your candle is to trim the wick to 1/4 inch in length before each use. Trimming will allow your candle to have a longer burn time and less smoke.

2. Never burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

3. Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

4. Avoid burning your candle in drafty area to minimize smoke. Burn only on non-flammable, heat-safe surfaces.

5. If your candle is burning unevenly, simply extinguish the wick and move it to the center of the container (with a handy tool) while the wax is still soft.

6. Order a new candle when 1/4" of wax remains.

Our Process:

These candles are hand poured in Los Angeles with our very own hands. We have blended all natural ingredients, using a soy wax and bees wax blend along with essential oils to create the healthiest product we can that provides the most enriching experiences our skills allow.

Unique Scent Blend

Creating our signature scent was nothing short of a labor of love. Before we landed on the perfect blend, we produced and tested over 800 candles. We began by working side-by-side with our fragrance designer, Trich, learning the craft from the ground up, how to layer and balance essential oils, the precise temperatures for heating and pouring wax, the art of trimming wicks, and the subtle details that turn raw materials into something extraordinary. Every trial brought us closer to the blend you now hold in your hands, a scent designed, refined, and perfected entirely by us.

All-Natural Ingredients

The deeper we dove into the candle industry, the more we discovered just how inconsistent ingredient quality can be. To our surprise, many luxury candles, often with a higher price tag, were made with synthetic fragrances, paraffin wax, and chemical additives. Even our own early manufacturing tests with established producers came back filled with ingredients we would never feel comfortable breathing in our homes.So we made the choice that added over a year to our R&D process: every candle we make uses a pure beeswax and soy wax blend, scented only with 100% essential oils, never synthetic perfumes. The result is a candle that’s better for you, better for the air you breathe, and crafted with the highest respect for your health and home.

Hand-Poured

In the beginning, we considered the “easy” route, outsourcing production to a large manufacturer who could handle everything from scent formulation to pouring, labeling, boxing, and shipping. But it didn’t sit right with us. It felt impersonal, commercial, and disconnected from the creative process we love.Instead, we decided to do it the hard way, the right way. We pour every single candle ourselves, by hand. From heating the wax to placing and centering each wick, we take the time to make sure every candle is poured with care, attention, and intention.

Hand-Crafted from Start to Finish

Once the wax was poured, our work was far from over. We had 500 candles in blank vessels, no labels, no boxes, no finishing touches. So, in true hands-on fashion, we sourced a local printer for our custom packaging, folded every box ourselves, applied every label by hand, placed protective inserts, carefully wrapped each box for a pristine arrival, and prepared every shipment in-house. From the very first drop of wax to the moment you open your package, every single step has been done by our own hands, for you. This isn’t just a candle, it’s the result of countless hours of care, craft, and passion, sent directly from our hearts to your home.

WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

We ship to the United States. Other select international countries can also place orders on nuarehome.com—these orders will ship from the United States and can take up to four weeks to arrive. Shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout, and applicable taxes/duties are the responsibility of the customer. WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Please allow 3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) for us to receive and process your order. Any order received after 12:00 PM PT will begin processing the following business day. (Please note: If the order is placed after 12:00 PM PT on Friday, it will begin processing on the following Monday.)

Returns & Exchanges

How do I place a return or exchange?

To start a return or exchange in the United States, please visit Returns. For international orders, please reach out to info@nuarehome.com with your order number and the products you'd like to return or exchange. We're sorry you didn't love it.

What’s your return policy?

We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused in their original carton packaging—we do not accept returns of used items. Select exploratory sets are final sale, as noted on their product pages. You will be refunded the full amount of the items, minus a $5 handling fee to cover restocking. We are not able to refund the original shipping charges, as these are paid directly to the carrier. We are only able to accept returns from orders placed on nuarehome.com. Please contact the original point of purchase for orders placed from other retailers.

How long does it take to process a return?

In some circumstances, our customer support team may need to review your return request—please allow 1-2 business days for review. Once a return is dropped off and scanned by the shipping carrier, the return is processed—credit card refunds usually take 3-10 business days to appear on your statement.

WHAT DO I DO IF I AM MISSING AN ITEM FROM MY ORDER?

Please email info@nuarehome.com within 48 hours of receiving your order with a photo of everything you received and the packaging. We'll make sure that you receive everything you've ordered.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY PACKAGING IS MISSING?

If your order has been marked as delivered, but you haven't received it, please wait 3 business days before reaching out to info@nuarehome.com. Carriers sometimes preemptively mark a package as delivered before they actually complete the delivery. We also recommend checking with your building management, concierge, mailroom, or neighbors to see if they received the package for you.

What can I do if my payment is declined?

Oh no! Here are a few things to check if your payment didn’t go through: Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you’ve entered into our system.

For best results, follow these simple maintenance tips:

The first time you use the candle, it is better to leave it to burn for 2 or 3 hours, until all the wax has liquefied on the surface, so that your candle will burn more evenly each subsequent time you burn it. Never leave the candle unattended when lit or allow it to burn for more than 3 hours at a time. Make sure you recenter the wick in the wax after each use. This will allow the wax to burn more evenly, as well as prevent the wick from getting too close to the glass and potentially overheating it. Last but not least, cut the wick regularly to a length of 3 or 5 mm. This will allow the candle to burn for longer and prevent the wick from emitting smoke or turning black and falling into the liquid wax.
